Various Piston ecosystem questions



I’m a newcomer to rust, game dev (I’ve been a web dev for a few years now) and to piston. The questions that are bugging me are:

  • Is there real support for 3d rendering in piston at the moment ? (If not how much work would there be left to add such a feature ?)
  • My understanding of game dev is that you have 3d modeling artists (or amateurs) providing a bunch of files that the game engine will “animate” afterwards. I’ve seen this but there’s no link for the 3d rendering engine. So is skeletal animation enough ?
